Meet the Owner
Tammy Watson - WashDay!, LLC
WashDay!, LLC was established in 2023 by North Carolina A&T State University alumna Tammy Watson who is originally from Garysburg, NC. WashDay! started as a conversation in her family's social media group chat. She initially wanted to enter into the laundry business alongside her large family. However, after graduation and completion of her studies in Business Information Technology, Tammy quickly realized she wanted to integrate some newer technologies into the age old business model of doing laundry.
In addition to an attempt to begin integrating a new way for people to do laundry, Tammy also wanted to ensure that she could offer her service not only to her nearby urban communities but also be able to provide an offering to rural areas as well. In many cases, you do not find a service such as a wash-and-fold delivery that is willing to extend convenience to area outside of city limits. This inability to access service can cause an impactful hardship to those effected.
With an ultimate goal of having multiple standalone, one-stop contactless drop-off and pick-up locations, the WashDay! path to creation has had many alterations before its current startup design.
